Swamp’s Edge Outfitters is dedicated to the preservation and management of wildlife in The Great Dismal Swamp. We offer only a limited number of hunts each year for bear and duck, which keeps our success rate impeccable, and our wildlife pristine. The Great Dismal Swamp is comprised of 111,000 acres of forested wetlands. Swamp’s Edge Outfitters controls the only land that encroaches The Great Dismal Swamp. There is no public hunting of Black Bear or Duck in the 111,000 acre refuge, but our privately owned hunting grounds give hunters the opportunity to harvest the many trophies that the swamp has to offer.
