Duck Hunting Information

      Swamp’s Edge Outfitters offers some of the finest duck hunting anywhere.  We have almost one thousand acres of managed wetlands.  Each year we invest great time and money developing this land into an elite venue for duck hunting.  We have control drains that give us the ability to keep the land dry so food sources can grow all year.  When duck season arrives the wetlands water table is raised and the ducks come in abundance.  Each year we work to develop our land into even more pristine hunting grounds.

       You can expect to hunt Teal, Wood Duck, and Mallard.  We offer single day to weekly hunts for individuals or groups.  Hunting season begins in mid-December and runs through January.  We limit the number of hunters at one time so your hunt is productive and exciting.  We offer you guides and dogs for your hunt, but you are welcome to use your own dog/s or none at all.  We have a cabin with bunks, bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, and grille.  You are responsible for your own food products.  

       Milt Johnston is our head Duck Hunting guide and wetland manager.  He is a professional  Waterfowl dog trainer.  The professional dogs you have access to are GMHR Indian Creek Ajax MH,  and Gainesfield It's My Turn JH.

    GMHR = Grand Master Hunting Retriever through NAHRA

    MH = Mater Hunter through AKC

    JH = Junior Hunter
